How we collect, use, and protect information when you use the ZONA app.
ZONA is built to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, voice control, larger text, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is something we work on continuously rather than treat as finished, and we welcome being told when we fall short.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the ZONA mobile app and our websites. These guidelines are the widely accepted benchmark for making digital products usable by people with a broad range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.
We build ZONA to work with the accessibility features built into iOS and Android, including VoiceOver, TalkBack, Dynamic Type and larger text settings, and increased contrast. We aim for readable colour contrast, clear labelling of buttons and controls, and navigation that does not depend on gestures alone.
ZONA is an actively developed product and parts of it will not yet fully meet the standard above. Some images and venue photos supplied by venues and organizers may lack descriptive text, and some newer screens may not yet be fully labelled for screen readers. We treat reported accessibility problems as bugs and prioritise them accordingly.
If any part of ZONA is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us at support@getzona.app. Describe what you were trying to do, the screen or page you were on, and the assistive technology you were using if any. We read every message and will reply. If you need information from ZONA in a different format, ask us and we will provide it.
We update this statement as the product changes and as we learn about problems. The effective date above reflects the most recent update.
