The Django
Tribeca's cellar jazz room beneath the Roxy Hotel channels a Paris basement club: brick vaults, candlelit tables, and two or three sets a night from serious touring players. Covers run 25 to 40 dollars with a two-drink minimum, and tables are released online by set time; the late Friday and Saturday sets stretch past midnight. The cocktails are proper, the sightlines are democratic, and fashionable evening attire is the unwritten rule. A rare live-music room that works as a full night out.
