TAO Downtown Nightclub

Below the 16th Street staircase and the towering Quan Yin statue, dinner slides into one of the city's most reliable big-room nights. Hip hop and open format control the floor Thursday through Monday until 4am while bottle parades snake between banquettes and a drinks-only lounge holds private groups. The dinner-to-nightlife pipeline is the move: hold a table upstairs, then descend with the crowd around midnight. Minimums start near $1,500 and climb with the talent.
